Will the Minister of EDUCATION be pleased to state:

• whether it is a fact that the syllabus of Medical Science is being translated into Hindi;

• if so, the status of the syllabus that has been translated so far;

• the steps taken by Government to complete it at the earliest;

• whether there is any plan proposed by Government to train teachers to understand the Hindi medium syllabus; and
• if so, the details thereof ?

• to (e) The National Education Policy (2020) envisages imparting more programs in higher education, using mother tongue/ local language as medium of instruction, and/or offer programs bilingually, in order to increase access and Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) and also to promote the strength, usage and vibrancy of all Indian Languages.

As per the information received from the State government of Madhya Pradesh, the State in order to promote education in regional languages has taken a decision to impart medical education in Hindi as a pilot project.
